Saskatoon Diving Club is proud to host the SK Winter Provincial Championships and Junior Team Trials right here at the Shaw Centre. This major provincial meet brings together Saskatchewan’s developing and competitive divers for an exciting weekend of skill, teamwork, and athletic growth.
The event runs February 12–15, 2026, and will feature athletes from across the province competing on both springboard and platform. For many divers, this is one of the most important meets of the season. Not only does it serve as Saskatchewan’s winter provincial championships, it also acts as a Junior Team Trials event for athletes looking to advance to higher levels of competition.
As host club, we’re thrilled to welcome families, coaches, and spectators to Saskatoon. Our volunteers and staff will be working hard to ensure a smooth, supportive, and energetic environment for every participant. Meets like these are an opportunity for young athletes to challenge themselves, showcase their training, and learn from one another in a positive community setting.
The Shaw Centre provides a fantastic stage, with world class facilities that allow divers to perform at their best. Whether you’re a parent, teammate, or fan of the sport, you can expect a great weekend of action and inspiration.
More details about schedules, warm-up times, and event logistics will be shared as we get closer to the competition. We encourage everyone to come out, cheer loudly, and help us celebrate diving in Saskatchewan.
Calling all volunteers
This four-day event is a huge team effort, and we need volunteers to help make it amazing. From on-deck announcing, computer scoring, and hospitality, there are so many ways to pitch in.
Even if your child isn’t competing yet, volunteering is a great way to:
- See the dives up close
- Learn how a meet runs
- Support our athletes and fellow families
- Give back to our community club
We’re asking everyone to save the date and book your commitment now – even a few hours of your time helps tremendously and keeps things running smoothly for everyone.
Don’t worry if you’ve never been to a dive meet or worked the computers on deck before, all on-deck positions are easy to learn and the event coordinators will guide you every step of the way!
Families can also help by donating raffle items or connecting with local businesses for sponsorships – every contribution makes a big difference!
